November is Native American Heritage Month and in celebration of Heritage Month, the Seneca Nation has planned a series of events at all three of their locations – Seneca Allegany, Seneca Niagara, and Buffalo Creek.
The celebration begins on November 7 with a display of history and tradition with the Community Dinner and Social in the Seneca Events Center at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino in Niagara Falls. The free event begins at 5pm and will feature authentic Native American food, craft vendors, and songs and dances from the Haudenosaunee. A family friendly event, no alcohol will be served inside the Events Center.
The various restaurants inside the the Seneca Allegany, Seneca Niagara, and Buffalo Creek locations – both The Western Door restaurants, Thunder Falls Buffet Three Sisters Cafe, Thunder Mountain Buffet, The Seneca Cafe, Phillips WD Bar & Grille, and The Creek – will feature special Native American themed foods.
Native American vendors will be on hand on the weekends at all Seneca properties offering a variety of handmade wares.
The Haudenosaunee will be presenting Social Dance demonstrations that include audience participation at ll three locations beginning November 1.
