In a stand along event the Camping World Truck Series travels to Gateway Motorsport Park for the Eaton 200.

Thirty four teams brought trucks the the track but ony 32 of them will start the race.

After three rounds of qualifying, setting a new track record of 32.45 seconds Grant Enfinger wins the pole and will bring the field to green.

BJ McLeod and Camden Murphy failed to quality for the race.

Starting in tenth place, Zane Smith is starting in his very first CWTS race. Smith revealed that he learned only three days ago that he would be running in the race this weekend.

Stages one and two of the race are 35 laps each with stage three lasting 90 laps for a total of 160 around the 1.25 mile newly repaved track.

In the 17 previous races no driver who has started outside the top 10 has won the race.

During warm up pace laps the trucks get four wide as they salute the troops.

Choosing the outside lane, Grant Enfinger brings the field down for the green flag start and edges out 17 year old Christian Eckes for the lead.

Lap 14 Grant Enfinger has a lead of nearly two seconds on Christian Eckes; Matt Crafton, Noah Gragson, and John Hunter Nemechek round out the top five.

Lap 15 Grant Enfinger increases his lead to over two seconds on Matt Crafton; Noah Gragson, Christian Eckes, and John Hunter Nemechek round out the top five. After starting the race in 13th, points leader Johnny Sauter has moved into the top 10 at number nine.

Lap 21 there are 25 trucks on the lead lap with Grant Enfinger in the lead by two seconds over Noah Gragson; Christian Eckes, John Hunter Nemechek, and Matt Crafton round out the top five.

The first caution flag of the race comes out on lap 22 when Jordan Anderson stops on the track. Tyler Matthews is the “lucky dog”.

Lap 45, Christian Eckes has a lead of over half a second on Todd Gilliland; Johnny Sauter, Jesse Little, and Stewart Friesen round out the top five. Grant Enfiger has moved up to eighth place.

Lap 48, Christian Eckes has pulled out to a lead of over a second on Johnny Sauter; Todd Gilliland, Jesse Little, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.

Lap 52 Christian Eckes continues to lead the race with Johnny Sauter in second; Todd Gilliland, Jesse Little, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.

At 17, leader Christian Eckes is the youngest driver in the race.

Lap 54, Christian Eckes has a lead of a second on Johnny Sauter. Pole sitter Grant Enfinger is in eighth place.

Lap 56, Christian Eckes holds his one second lead on Johny Sauter; with Todd Gilliland, Noah Gragson, and Brett Moffitt rounding out the top five.

With nine laps remaining in stage two, Christian Eckes has pulled out to a lead of nearly two second on Johnny Sauter; Todd Gilliland, Noah Gragson, and Brett Moffitt round out the top five. There are 23 trucks on the lead lap.

With six laps remaining in the stage, the drivers are getting three wide across the track.

Matt Crafton is stopped on the track and brings out the caution flag with only five laps remaining in stage two.

Ending the stage under caution, Christian Eckes wins stage two for his first stage win.

With a stage of 90 laps, the drivers cannot finish the race without making a pit stop.

The caution flag comes out on lap 77 when Christian Eckes spins out after making contact with Stewart Friesen.

With 64 laps to go, the drivers are in their window to make a pit stop and finish the race.

The caution flag comes out after Stewart Friesen and Johnny Sauter make contact with Friesen spinning out and hitting the wall.

In their pit window, all of the drivers bring their trucks down pit road for service.

Taking two tires, Noah Gragson wins the race off of pit road. Brett Moffitt had some issues on pit road and had to make two stops when the fuel can would not engage on the first stop.. He will restart the race in 18th position.

Johnny Sauter also had some pit road issues and will restart the race in eleventh place.

Lap 104, the top five are Noah Gragson, John Hunter Nemechek, Justin Haley, Todd Gilliland, and Zane Smith. After being a lap down most of the night, Ben Rhodes is in seventh place.

Lap 108, Noah Gragson has increased his lead to over a second on John Hunter Nemechek; Todd Gillialnd, Justin Haley, and Ben Rhodes round out the top five. Brett Moffitt has moved up to ninth.

Lap 110, Noah Gragson’s lead is now a second and a half over John Hunter Nemechek; Todd Gilliland, Justin Haley, and Ben Rhodes round out the top five. Johnny Sauter is in sixth and Brett Moffitt is in eighth.

The caution flag comes out when Justin Fontaine hit the wall after getting into the fluid dropped on the track by John Hunter Nemechek after some debris punctured his oil pan. Tate Fogelman hits Fontaine’s truck in the driver’s side door. When Fontaine climbs out of his truck he immediately looks to check on Fogelman.

Under caution with an extended clean up, Noah Gragson leads the field with Todd Gilliland, Justin Haley, Ben Rhodes and Johnny Sauter rounding out the top five. Zane Smith, Brett Moffitt, Riley Herbst, Jesse Little, and Myatt Snider complete the top 10.

To help with the cleanup, NASCAR brings out the red flag and stops the trucks on the track.

After a 13 minute red flag delay, NASCAR puts out the caution flag and the drivers begin moving around the track as the laps again begin to count down.

Noah Gragson brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 124 and the drivers get three wide on the restart.

Lap 125 Noah Gragson holds on to the lead with Justin Haley in second; Todd Gilliland, Johnny Sauter, and Brett Moffitt round out the top five.

Lap 126, Noah Gragson is in the lead with Todd Gilliland in third, Johnny Sauter in fourth, and Brett Moffitt in fifth. Ben Rhodes is in sixth place.

Ben Rhodes and Brett Moffitt make contact and bring out the caution flag while battling for position on lap 133. Both drivers were in the top 10 at the time of the incident. Ben Rhodes stayed out on the track but Brett Moffitt has had to make two trips down pit road for repairs.
