“Dash-4-Cash” begins at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Xfinity Series with the Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300. Under new NASCAR rules no Monster Energy Cup Series drivers may participate in a “Dash-4-Cash” race; as a result, only Xfinity Series regulars will be running around the hast half mile track in Thunder Valley.
For the next four weeks, four drivers wi battle it out for an extra $100,000 prize. For this race Cole Custer, Daniel Hemric, Christopher Bell, and Ryan Preece will race for the money.
This is the first short track race of the season for the Xfinity Series.
Ty Majeski’s team had issues in inspection and after failing to make it through three times, the team’s car chief has been ejected.
After three rounds of qualifying Cole Custer beats out the field for his first pole.

After hitting the wall making a qualifying run, Morgan Shepherd did not quality for the race.
Joey Logano will join Adam Alexander and Michael Waltrip in the broadcast booth for the race.
Stages one and two of the race will be 85 laps each with stage three lasting 130 laps.
NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 40.
Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag start but it is Justin Allgaier who gets out in front for the lead of the race.
Lap four Justin Allgaier has the lead with Daniel Hemric in second and Cole Cuser in third, Brandon Jones in fourth, and John Hunter Nemechek in fifth.
The first caution flag of the race comes out on lap five for a crash involving several cars. Christopher Bell, Jeremy Clements, Alex Labbe, Kaz Grala, Ty Majeski, and Chase Briscoe were all involved in the crash.
With the early caution flag for a crash, NASCAR has moved the competition caution to lap 45.

Lap 21 Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of half a second on Daniel Hemric.
As a result of the crash, Jeremy Clements is out of the race. After restarting in 28th, Christopher Bell, who blew a tire and caused the wreck, has moved up to 20th.
Lap 29 Justin Allgaier now has a lead of over a second and has encountered slower traffic.
Lap 32 the top five are Justin Allgaier, Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones, Cole Custer, and John Hunter Nemechek. Christopher Bell is in 16th.
Lap 40 Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of over three seconds on Daniel Hemric. Drivers can make a lap around the half mile track in 15 seconds.
NASCAR puts out the competition caution on lap 46. Justin Allgaier leads the race with 19 cars on the lead lap.
Taking only two tires, Cole Custer wins the race off of pit road while the team fights a fire in his pit stall. The fuel man’s shoe caught fire, but he is fine.
Cole Custer brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 55 but Daniel Hemric jumps out in front for the lead of the race.
Lap 56 Christopher Bell takes over the lead of the race.
Matt Tifft brings out the caution flag on lap 57 when he spins out.

MichaelAnnett has a flat tire but gets down pit road and the track stays green. With a pit road speed of only 30mph, Annet will go down three our four laps making the pit stop for fresh tires.
Lap 125 the top five are Daniel Hemric, Ryan Preece, Christopher Bell, Brandon Jones, and Shane Lee – who is making his first ever Xfinity race and Bristol start.
Lap 135 Daniel Hemric continues to lead Ryan Preece by half a second with Christopher Bell in third; Brandon Jones nad Shane Lee round out the top five.
The caution flag comes out on lap 140 when Vinnie Miller, Christopher Bell, and Cody Ware are involved in a crash.
