Trains have always been the cause of great fascination for children. On April 28 and 29 The Strong Museum celebrates that fascination with an “All Aboard! Trains Weekend”.

The festivities run from 11am to 4pm on Saturday April 28 and 1pm to 4pm on Sunday April 29 with model train exhibits and a chance to ride on The Strong Express.

Conductors from the New York Museum of Transportation will be on hand to talk about trolley history in the Rochester area.

Admission to The Museum includes one free ride one The Strong Express.

The Ticket to Ride exhibit explores the fascination Americans have had with trains and toy trains that includes model trains from wood to electronic.

The Strong also features an exhibit from Thomas the Train with Thomas and Friends where visitors can play dress up as a conductor, play train engineer and help to fix the train, and help to guide the train around a steep curve.
