The competition is winding down for the paralympians in Pyeongchang and the 2018 winter games.

In the bronze medal sled hockey game, the host country of Korea and Italy faced off in the first of two medal games. After two scoreless periods, it was looking like the game was going to go into overtime when with less than four minutes remaining in the game, Korea scored a goal to win the game 1-0.

The gold medal game is yet to be played but it will be a historic event with either the U.S. claiming four paralympic gold medals in a row or Canada earning their first paralympic gold.

The United States has increased its lead in the gold medal count with 12. The U.S. also leads the way with 15 silver medals but Canada holds the lead in bronze medals with 15.

The U.S. team leads the way in the total medal count with 35 and there are now eight countries with medal counts in the double digits.

China has added their name ts the medal list after winning a gold medal for a total of 26 countries with medals.
