Red Flags and Rain Mar DC Solar 200

The Xfinity Series travels to Phoenix and ISM Raceway for the DC Solar 200 on the second leg of the west coast swing.

Monster Energy Cup Series driver Ryan Blaney will be joining Adam Alexander and Michael Waltrip in the broadcast booth for the race.

After three rounds of qualifying JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier puts his number seven car on the pole for his first Phoenix pole.

Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps.

Pole sitter Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and gets out in front of the field to lead the race. Drivers are already getting three and four wide behind him.

Justin Allgaier leads lap one with Christopher Bell in second and Brad Keselowski in third with Kyle Busch and Jamie McMurray rounding out the top five.

Lap four Elliott Sadler has moved up to 27^th after starting the field from the back after making an engine change during practice on Friday.

Lap eight Justin Allgaier had a third of a second lead on Brad Keselowski with Kyle Busch in third, Christopher Bell in fourth, and Jamie McMurray in fifth.

Lap eleven Brad Keselowski passes Justin Allgaier to take ove the lead of the race.

Lap 19 Brad Keselowski is in the lead with Justin Allgaier nearly a second behind in second with Kyle Busch, Christopher Bell, and Jamie McMurray rounding out the top five. Daniel Hemric, Matt Tifft, Brandon Jones, Ryan Truex and Ty Dillion finish out the top 10.

Lap 26 Brad Keselowski continues to lead the race with Justin Allgarier in second nearly a second behind.

The first caution flag of the race comes out when David Starr’s car blows an engine. BJ McLeod is the “lucky dog”.

The three drivers who started the race from the back of the field have moved up to the top 24 with Cole Custer in 18^th, Elliott Sadler in 19^th, and Tyler Reddick in 23^rd.

Taking the outside lane, Brad Keselowski brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 24 and holds on to the lead of the race with Justin Allgaier in second.

Lap 35 Justin Allgaier and Brad Keselowski battle for the lead swapping it back and forth and nearly wrecking with Justin Allgaier getting out in front for the lead with Kyle Busch in second, Christopher Bell in third.

With seven laps remaining in the stage Justin Allgaier leads the race with Kyle Busch in second, Christopher Bell in third, Daniel Hemric n fourth, and Brad Keselowski in fifth.

Forty seven laps into the race, Mother Nature took over and the rains came down. The race has been red flagged for the rain.

After an extended rain delay of an hour and 35 minutes, the Xfinity Series returned to the track.

Brad Keselowski was caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Again this week Kyle Busch’s team had some issues on pit road.

Tyler Reddick brought the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 53 and holds on to the lead.

Lap 54 Tyler Reddick is in the lead but gets challenged by Kyle Busch and swap the lead back and forth with Kyle Busch finally taking the lead. Daniel Hemric, Justin Allgaier, and Ryan Reed round out the top five.

Thriteen laps into stage two, Brad Keselowski has moved up to 21^st place.

Lap 59 Kyle Busch holds on to the lead by nearly half a second on Daniel Hemric, Justin Allgaier, Tyler Reddick and Christopher Bell round out the top five. There are 27 cars on the lead lap.

The drivers are getting four wide across the track.

Lap 63 Kyle Busch holds on  to the lead of the race with Justin Allgaier a half second behind.

Lap 66 Brad Keselowski has moved up to 15^th.

Kyle Busch has a half second lead on Justin Allgaier, with Daniel Hemric, Christopher Bell, and Cole Custer filling out the top five.

Lap 70 Brad Keselowski is up to 12^th place.

FOX broadcasters are reporting that there is more rain in the area. NASCAR considers it an official race at the end of stage two.

With 13 laps remaining in stage two, Kyle Busch continues to lead the race with Justin Allgaier in second. Brad Keselowski is now in eighth place. There are 24 cars on the lead lap.

Ten to go in stage two Kyle Busch has the lead, but fellow Monster Cup driver Brad Keselowski is gaining fast now in seventh place.

Matt Mills brings out the caution flag when he gets into the wall with only seven laps remaining in stage two.

With only three laps remaining in stage two, NASCAR has once again displayed the red flag for rain.

The second red flag lasted 25 minutes, NASCAR is trying to line the cars up and get the green flag out so that the stage can finish under green.

Kyle Busch brings the field down for the one lap shootout to end stage two and holds on to the lead with Daniel Hemric and Cole Custer battling for second.

Kyle Busch wins the race off of pit road but it is Justin Allgaier who lead the field to the green flag start of stage three on lap 97 and holds on to the lead of the race.

Halfway – lap 100 – Justin Allgaier leads the race with Tyler Reddick in second after starting the race from the back of the field.

Lap 101 Brad Keselowski is now in second place, over a second and a half behind leader Justin Allagier.

Lap 104 Justin Allgaier is in the lead with Brad Keselowski in second, Christopher Bell in third, Matt Tifft in fourth and Tyler Reddick in fifth.

Lap 107 there are 25 cars on the lead lap. Justin Allgaier holds on to the lead with Brad Keselowski in second, Christopher Bell in third, Matt Tifft in fourth, and Kyle Busch in fifth.

Lap 111, Brad Keselowski has pulled to within less than a second and a half on Justin Allgaier.

With 88 laps remaining in the race, Justin Allgeir’s lead over Brad Keselowski is now only a second.

Lap 118 Justin Allgaier holds on to the lead of the race but has a lead of less than a second on Brad Keselowski with Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch, and Matt Tifft rounding out the top five.

With 58 laps to go, Brad Keselowski has finally caught up to and passed Justin Allgaier for the lead of the race; Christopher Bell is in third, Kyle Busch in fourth, and Matt Tifft in fifth.

There are 17 cars on the lead lap.

With 48 laps to go Ty Dillon is the first driver to make a green flag pit stop.

Once green flag pit stops are complete, Brad Keselowski will retake the lead of the race with less than 25 laps remaining in the race.
