After it was revealed last year that NASCAR driver Danica Patrick would not be returning behind the wheel of the Stewart-Haas Racing number 10 car, Patrick expressed a desire to end her racing career after rurnning two more races – two of the most iconic races in the sport.
In February Patrick ran the Daytona 500 where she drove the number seven car for Premium Motorsports with longtime sponsor Go Daddy on the hood. After being involved in an on track incident, Patrick finished the race in 35th place.
Patrick had expressed a desire to complete her career back where it all started in any Indy Car and the Indianapolis 500.
The details for that race have now been set and she will indeed complete her racing career this May at Indy driving the number 13 car for Ed Carpenter Racing. Patrick will again be driving a car sponsored by Go Daddy.
