He promised no special guests, no lip syncing, and no wardrobe malfunctions…but there were plenty of dancers and lots of video screens when Justin Timberlake entertained the Super Bowl crowd in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Spanning his solo career, Timberlake brought sexy back, his suit and tie, and asked fans to light up the arena with their mobile phones as he performed.
Along with his dance moves, Timberlake also played the piano and paid tribute to Minneapolis’ own Prince in a performance where he sang along with a video of the musical icon.
There were hundreds of people holding mirrors as he sang about his mirror looking back at him. The show was longer than the normal 12 minutes as Timberlake invited everyone to “Dance, Dance Dance”.
In a public service announcement, Timberlake reminded fans to thank the First Responders.
