In this age of Wi-Fi and cameras everywhere, there is no hiding past sins.

The latest “celebrity’ to get caught up in past events is “Bachelorette” Taylor Frankie Paul.

Just days before the new season of the long running reality series was scheduled to air its latest season, ABC has cancelled this season’s shows.

Citing a video from 2023 that has surfaced, Disney Entertainment Television issued a statement saying, “in light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”

The move occurred after TMZ released a 2023 video of a fight between Paul and Dakota Mortensen.

Utah authorities have also confirmed that there is an active investigation into domestic violence involving Paul and Mortensen from an incident last month with their son nearby.  The duo have a two year old son together.

With plenty of “he said, she said” being thrown around, the consequences of the incident in February…and the subsequent video from three years ago…are clear…

The two began dating in 2022.  The tumultuous relationship has found its way into “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives”.

Filming of the show has been paused while the allegations are investigated.

Cast members say the decision to pause was “a collective one”, and “didn’t feel comfortable continuing production amid the situation”.

Saying that the allegations against Paul no longer align with their brand values, Cinnabon has severed ties with “The Bachelorette” and “The Secret Wives of Mormon Lives.”

Paul was arrested in 2023 after an alleged altercation where Paul admitted guilt plea in abeyance to aggravated assault.  The charge could be dismissed if she complied to all terms of the agreement.

Reportedly Mortensen has filed for a protection order and is seeking custody, at least temporarily, of their son Ever.
