The Triple Truck Challenge returns to the Craftsman Truck Series and is set to begin this weekend at Darlington Raceway. The Truck Series has been off for the past two weeks and returns this weekend for triple header action.
Called “The Trip”, the Triple Truck Challenge awards drivers with an additional financial reward of $50,000 for winning a race. However, if the same driver wins more than one race, his financial reward is increased to $150,000 for two wins and $500,000 if the same driver wins all three races in the challenge.
This year the Triple Truck Challenge tracks are:
Darlington Raceway
Rockingham Speedway
and Bristol Motor Speedway
Only full time Craftsman Truck Series drivers who are competing for the championship are qualified for The Trip.
