It was a historic day in the north country when Canada earned its first gold medal when Mikael Kingsbury took the gold in Men’s Dual Moguls.  He also won a silver medal in the Men’s Moguls.

No new nations added their names to the medal count but Norway has increased its lead with 12 gold medals and 26 overall medals.

Host country Italy holds on to second place, but Japan adds two medals to tie with the USA in third.
