Daily writing prompt
In what ways do you communicate online?

Like most people I have a Facebook account used primarily to keep up with family and I post links to my work.

And I have multiple email accounts that drop a couple of hundred messages each day.

And of course, there are the messengers for texting that get used for a variety of purposes.

But, I would say by far my biggest format for communicating online are the thousands of articles I have written and continue to write and post.

With those articles I share news items, bits of information, and the occasional nonsense.

I try to pass on pieces of information that I find interesting; but don’t always succeed – at least that’s what the page views show.

While I do report on some items that are pretty much all over the internet and television; I also look for things that are not as widely known.

Deciding what to “communicate” is a big guessing game; but then again, much of life can seem to be that way.

Over the years I have posted tours by artists and bands, hoping that my site could become a source for finding concerts. For some artists it is easy to locate their sites with show dates; but for others it isn’t quite as easy. Having a “go to” place for concerts seemed like a good idea.

Admittedly, I have days when I wonder if it is all worth the trouble; but I just can’t seem to let go. So, I will keep communicating the best I can…and pass it on.
