With the holiday season in full swing, it was an excellent week for Broadway with the top five shows bringing in over $2 each and all but six of the shows having at least 90% audience capacity – eight of them reaching at least 100% audience attendance.

The box office saw an eight percent increase last week; bringing in over $47 million for 36 shows.  Three of those shows had their final performances on Sunday night – “Art”, “Little Bear Bridge Road”, and “The Queen of Versailles”.

With Tom Felton portraying his role of Draco Malfoy has been a big boost for “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” who topped the list with a box office draw of over $3 million; “Wicked” is still riding on the success of the films and also brought in over $3 million last week.  The remaining top five all had box office draws of over $2 each.

The revival of the ABBA musical “Mamma Mia” saw its biggest box office draw in the history of the show!

While three shows were ending their run, the Tracy Letts drama “Bug” opened to previews.  The show will officially open on January 8, 2026.

There were a whopping 24 of the 36 shows making the Million Dollar Club this week.

Eight of the 30 shows in the 90% Club had an audience capacity of at least 100% with all but six of the shows last week making the list.

The Bobby Darin musical “Just in Time” remained at the top of the list with over 102%.
