When the 2026 Grammy Award nominations came out November 7, Super Bowl Halftime Entertainer Kendrick Lamar led the list with   nominations.  His Album of the Year nomination for “GNX” is the 22 time Grammy Award winners fifth album in a row to earn the nomination – something never done by any other artist.

Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, Cirkut, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas, Serban Ghenea, Andrew Wt, at Clipse, Doechii, Sounwave, SZA, Turnstile and Tyler, the Creator have garnered multiple award nominations.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr spoke n the Grammys via statement saying, “the Grammy Awards are our opportunity to honor the people who make this community so vibrant and this year’s nominees remind us of the incredible talent that is driving music forward.  From emerging talent to influential icons, these nominees reflect today’s broad and diverse musical landscape, and I am excited to celebrate them in the coming weeks ahead.”

Canadian artist The Weeknd has not had a Grammy nomination in 10 years…and he didn’t get one again  this year either.
