For St. Patrick’s Day, the world becomes Irish and the world has a party.

But there is no party quite like the one Irish rockers the Dropkick Murphys throw in Boston.  And as if they needed any more reason…the band is celebrating 30 years of making music.

The multi-day party begins on March 13 at the MGM Music Hall.  The party continues on March 14, 15, and 17 with the show on the 17th at the Citizens House Of Blues.

In addition, the band is offering a family friendly matinee performance at 2pm on March 14 that includes a meet and greet.  Benefiting their The Claddagh Fund, each adult ticket purchased includes two children under the age of 13 a free entry.

Speaking on the show the band said, “we’re looking forward to playing for families once again in 2026. We’ll turn down the volume and promise to wash out our mouths with soap if we swear…so you can bring the whole family!!”

Tickets for the St. Paddy’s Day events go on sale to the general public October 10.

Over the summer the Dropkick Murphys released a digital version of their album “For the People”.  On October 10 they will be releasing the vinyl and CD editions of the album which will include five additional songs.

The Dropkick Murphys are headed for Europe for some tour dates before launching a U.S. tour in the spring.  So far, only the St. Patrick’s dates have been announced for the spring tour…so stay tuned!
