Last week was the final week for the play “Purpose” and with the highest grossing week of the play, “Purpose” worked its way into the Million Dollar Club.

There was a general uptick in the box office on Broadway last week; partially due to the prior week running the annual 2-for-1 special.

As “Purpose” was preparing to bow out, “Art” began its run with the first previews.  All three shows were completely sold out.

Half of the 28 shows running made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with the top two shows topping the $2 Million mark.

A total of 20 shows were in the 90% Club last week with the top 10 shows bringing in at least 100% audience capacity.  The Bobby Darrin musical “Just in Time” continues to top the list with a Standing Room Only crowd of over 103%.
