Over 50 years ago Dick Clark created the American Music Awards as a fan’s answer to the industry driven Grammy Awards. All winners are selected by the fans with the winners for the 51st annual awards announced on May 26 in a live television event in Las Vegas with Jennifer Lopez hosting the event.
The 2025 AMA’s include a number of new awards this year.
The nominees for the 2025 awards were announced on April 23 with Kendrick Lamar leading the way with 10 nominations. Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift, and Sahboozey also garnered multiple award nominations.
Fans may cast their votes at VoteAMAs.com. Voting ends May 15; with the exception of the Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year which will remain open until 30 minutes prior to the awards broadcast.
Taylor Swift holds the most Awards in AMA history and with her six nominations this year, she could top the 40 award mark.
