Hendrick Motorsports has announced that they will be running the number 17 car sponsored by HendrickCars.com for nearly half of the Xfinity Series races.

Alex Bowman, Kyle Larson, William Byron, and Chase Elliott will be joined by Corey Day to share the car in the 16 race schedule.  Day will be in the car for over half of the races.

The first race will be at Circuit of the Americas on March 1 with William Byron behind the wheel in the first of his two races.  Kyle Larson will also drive twice with Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman each driving one race.

Corey Day will make his Xfinity Series debut at Martinsville Speedway.  A dirt track racer, the 19 year old Day has signed up to run 30 pavement races in 2025.

Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick spoke on the project saying, “we’re pleased to continue our sponsorship of the number 17 team, which has driven significant traffic to HendrickCars.com and helped support the broader goals of Hendrick Automotive Group.  With Adam (Wall), we have one of the sharpest young crew chiefs in the garage area leading our team. The Xfinity Series competition is tough, and we’re looking forward to the challenge.”

Last season Adam Wall was with JR Motorsports where he worked with Sammy Smith and Brandon Jones.

Adam Wall spoke on being the crew chief for the number 17 car saying, “Hendrick Motorsports has opened a lot of doors for me. “Because of the valuable experience I’ve gained, I feel very prepared for this opportunity. I’m excited about the chance to go racing with our Cup drivers and work with a young talent like Corey. Anyone who follows dirt knows he’s the real deal. We have high expectations as a team and look forward to a great year.”
