List your top 5 grocery store items.

Since the onset of Covid, I have rarely shopped in a grocery store. Why bother with all the hassle of multiple buses, getting a cart on the bus, and hauling the heavy cart home when Wally World (Walmart) delivers to my door???

Another lesson learned from Covid is to keep a supply of non-perishable food. Living in snow country, it is a good practice to keep a supply of food – especially the kind that doesn’t require cooking in case the power goes out.

Somehow, I seem to put together an order about once a week. But one thing that is nearly always on the list are my diet colas. I drink about a case of the small bottles a week.

I love rice, and its numerous varieties; so I have to make sure that I have plenty of rice.

There are usually some personal items that need replacing. Where I do laundry, there’s a local bakery across the street where I can get me some cookies and occasionally other sweets. And don’t forget the snacks!

Living alone, I try to keep a few frozen meals on hand for days when I just want to throw something in the oven. I used to get some breakfast things too, but they are hard to find these days unless you like it all in one bowl filled with pork (yuck).

And of course, taking advantage of Wally World’s vast inventory, there ae the occasional other items needed that get added to the order.
