Over the past couple of years, award winning music legend Barry Manilow has made “final” tour stops in the United Kingdom and the United States. However, he continues to hold his residency at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas.
In an unprecedented move founder and executive chairman of Westgate David Siegel has offered Manilow a Lifetime Residency at the Resort.
Speaking on Manilow, Siegel said, “Barry Manilow is a generational artist and a dear friend. Over the years, we have built a personal and professional relationship that is truly special, and I am honoured to offer Barry the opportunity to perform at Westgate for a lifetime.”
Accepting the honour, Manilow said, “it’s been an incredible journey performing at the International Theater. David Siegel and the Westgate team have been like family to me, and I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to call Westgate home for the rest of my career.”
Earlier this year Manilow was honoured when he broke the record for performances at the Westgate previously set by Elvis Presley at 636. With a Lifetime Residency in his future, Manilow is sure to set a record that will never be broken.
Manilow has also announced a return to Radio City Music Hall next April for a five night engagement.
