What is your favorite form of physical exercise?
With all my talk about music, it should be pretty obvious what I would rather do for exercise…DANCE!
Skating is pretty fun too, but I don’t get much chance to do that.
Dancing is easy to do, just move with the beat. And you can sit in a chair and still groove with the beat – I do that a lot.
I had a friend laughing at me because whenever the music came on, I was moving. I didn’t even realize what I was doing.
LOL, I love to dance and other than a couple of semesters of dance class in college, I have never had any formal training; but one night I was out at a club to see some friends perform. And of course when the music started before the show, I was dancing…alone. Suddenly everybody there was lining up to get the chance to dance with me!!! I still don’t understand what happened or why they had zeroed in on me.
About the only way to keep me still when music is playing is if I have the camera in my hand and am shooting film (digital these days) and have to stay still to get the shots; but the second the camera drops….I’m moving.
Sometimes I come home from covering a show and am absolutely exhausted and wondering why I am so tired…duh! I’ve been dancing – even if it is just swaying to the beat.
