It was another triple header weekend for NASCAR at Kansas Speedway.  For the Cup Series it was the first race in round two of the playoffs.  Last week four drivers were eliminated for the playoffs; leaving 12 drivers to move on to the next round.

It was also a weekend filled with playoff spoilers with non-playoff drivers winning the races. Ross Chastain won in the Cup Series and Aric Almirola in the Xfinity Series crossed the start/finish line first at Kansas.  Only Craftsman Truck Series playoff driver Corey Heim earned a win over the weekend.

Of the 12 playoff drivers racing in Kansas on Sunday, nine of them had issues either getting caught up in a wreck, mechanical issues, or on pit road.

After Kyle Larson has a bad day and loses three spots in the playoffs, William Byron takes over the lead in the point standings.
