Public Image Ltd (PIL) is releasing their first album in eight years in August.  “End of World” is dedicated to John Lydon’s wife of over 40 years Nora, who died as a result of Alzheimer’s Disease on April 5.  “End of World” is the PIL’s eleventh studio album and is set for an August 11 release.

Speaking on the decision to release the album Josh said, “Nora loved the album, she wouldn’t have wanted us to postpone it or change any of our plans.”

PIL have spent the past five years working on the album.  It all began back in 2018 while celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary.

PIL will embark on a tour of the UK and Europe in September to promote the new album.
