At one time it was seen as an assault on music and the rage of every teenager cruising the Malt Shops. Then the British invaded America and ever since musical styles have evolved and changed as the original became known as classic. Today they call it vintage, but the beat goes on.

And on November 17, the western New York banc Kickstart Rumble brought their Vintage Rock and Roll sound to Niagara Falls and the Hard Rock Cafe.

But the rockers brought more than just the original rock and sounds of Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, and The Drifters; the band performed music from The Stray Cats, Big Bad voodoo Daddy, some original song, and even “Go Like an Egyptian”.

Complete with a tenor saxophone player, a standup bass, and Lindy dancers; the night featured songs like “Fade Away”, “King of the Road”, “Zoot Suit Ryan”, “Maybeline”, “Go Daddy-O”, “Stray Cat Strut”, the original song “Austin”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, “Save the Last Dance for Me”, “Ball and Chain”, “Dancing with Myself”, “Honey Don’t”, “20 Flight Rock”, “Dance, Dance, Dance”, “Help Me Rhonda”, “Think We’re Alone Now”, “Mac the Knife”, “Walk Don’t Run”, “Burning Love”, “Should I Stay, or Should I Go”, and “18 Miles from Memphis”.

Eric, Mike, Tony, and Madison rocked the house and kept the dance floor busy with their mix of Rock and Roll through the decades with some fun filled tunes from days gone by.
