At one time The Strong Museum in Rochester, NY was known as The Strong Children’s Museum, but these days The Strong isn’t just for the younger set.
Beginning in October, The Strong will offer a new program series – Lifelong Learning for Seniors – on Museum Mondays for Seniors.
The program runs on Tuesday, October 16 with the Lifelong Learning Butterfly Talk which will offer a behind the scenes look at what The Strong has to offer in the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden.
The October 16 event is open to seniors 55 and older and runs from 11am to 2pm. The event features a talk on butterflies from The Strong biologist and a visit to the Butterfly Garden.
The Strong hosts the only year round indoor butterfly garden in New York state.
Tickets for the event are $15 each.

Tickets for Museum Mondays for Senior events are $10 each.
The Strong is open seven days a week:
Mon thru Thurs – 10am to 5pm
Fri & Sat – 10am to 8pm
Sun – noon to 5pm
