Thanks to the prodigious recording habits of musicians, fans have the opportunity to hear new music even after the artist has passed on.

On March 9, Jimi Hendrix fans will have that chance when “Both Sides of the Sky” is set for a release.

The album contains 13 tracks – 10 of which have never been released.

Like every album Hendrix ever recorded, “Both Sides of the Sky” was engineered by Eddie Kramer. John McDermott and Hendrix’ sister Janie produced the album.

Both Sides of the Sky” will be the third album of new material released since Hendrix death in 1970 at the age of 27. Previous albums “Valleys of Neptune” and People Hell and Angels” were also produced by McDermott, Hendrix, and Kramer.
